HUMAN-CENTERED

Ribbit coaching follows a human-centered approach. Sessions are 1 on 1, with frequent interactions over an extended period. During sessions, educators engage in deliberate practice of specific skills within the context of their own classroom or school.

TECH-ENABLED

Ribbit’s Coaching Model & Cycle

LEAP – LAUNCH, EVALUATE, ACTION, PERMANENCE

The LEAP Coaching Model and Cycle provides instructional coaches a framework to engage with educators. The focus of live, virtual coaching sessions is on relationship building, supporting implementation of learning, reviewing evidence and reflection, and supporting educators to adjust their practice for long-lasting impact.
LEAP is a dialogical model. Ribbit coaches:
  • Use inquiry to help educators identify goals and strategies that support their needs
  • Engage educators in problem-solving and consider educators as critical to this work
  • Listen and ask questions
  • Share their knowledge and expertise
  • Empower educators to make decisions that are best for them and their students
